Running a Program - Mr. Sisco

We sat down with Director of Bands Mike Sisco and asked what it’s like running a competitive band program. “Running a program like ours takes a lot of work,” he said, “the days go by slowly sometimes, but the work myself and my staff do always keeps us busy. Aside from being a “band director,” I am an administrator, a finance manager, human resources manager, curriculum coordinator, prop engineer, marching drill designer, food industry management, and transportation manager. Outside of being all of these things, I’m a parent, a coach, magician, and a drill sergeant. I love doing all of these things and helping these children reach their goals and helping them to find their potential.” I believe this shows us all the passion that Mr. Sisco has for everything he does and we are all so grateful to have Mr. Sisco as our Director of Bands!
