Week 4

Did you know that DCI stands for Drum Corps International? (A form of marching band.)

Last Thursday was our very first Thursday afternoon rehearsal, and we continued refining our show and put pre-game on the field in preparation for our first performance. As well as last Friday being our first performance of the year and it went really well! Our fourth BOA Saturday Rehearsal was focused on putting together more of our show and getting it on the field together, which ended up being successful.

This week we have our second Thursday afternoon rehearsal where we are going to focus on getting our closer on the field and we are in hopes of putting the entire show together on the field. 

Today our drumline marched in the Patriot Parade and they played acceptably well. Moving onto after school activities today. Once the end of the day bell rings, our marchers will be receiving their completed show uniforms for them to put in their uniform bags. During our second Thursday afternoon rehearsal tonight, we will be working on getting our closer onto the field and putting it together with the rest of our show. We are looking forward to putting our entire show onto the field for your entertainment.

Last night during our Thursday afternoon rehearsal we worked on getting some of our closer onto the field AND we also put together the entirety of the middle part of our show! We’re getting a lot done at a decently fast pace and we hope you’re ready for when we’ve got the whole thing out there! Don’t blink or you might miss it.
